Wildlife & Culture Explorer
Our tour begins as we travel north along the KwaZulu-Natal coastline to St. Lucia and the World Heritage site; iSimangaliso Wetland Park. We spend our first night at a private game reserve, enjoying an evening and morning game drive. The next morning we depart the lodge and venture into Swaziland through the magnificent mountainous terrain, stopping at a variety of different cultural attractions.
Day 3 and 4 of the tour are spent enjoying two very different game experiences; the large Kruger National Park and the exclusive Sabi Sands Game Reserve where time is dedicated to watching the magnificent beauty of a male kudu or the hilarious antics of a family of warthogs searching for their breakfast. Our final day is spent exploring the Panorama Route featuring God's Window, Bourke's Luck Potholes and the MacMac Falls before travelling via Lydenburg, Dullstroom and Witbank to our final destination; Johannesburg.
Morning departure from your hotel in Durban, travelling north through KwaZulu Natal towards St. Lucia, visit iSimangaliso Wetland Park, a World Heritage Site (previously known as The Greater St. Lucia Wetlands Park). Enjoy a river cruise on the estuary and view prolific wetlands bird life, fish eagles, hippo and crocodiles. Proceed to an exclusive private game lodge. After high tea, set out on an afternoon game drive in an open safari vehicle with an experienced game ranger and tracker. Enjoy a truly African cultural experience and bush dinner (weather permitting) before retiring to your luxurious villa.
Private Game Reserve
Morning game drive in an open safari vehicle. After brunch, depart the lodge and continue to the Kingdom of Swaziland. Travel through beautiful mountainous scenery, visiting a typical Road side Crafts and Curio Market and the Swazi candle factory en route. Late afternoon arrival at your luxury hotel, situated in the Ezulwini Valley. Fine dining and a relaxing evening awaits you.
After breakfast, visit the Ngwenya Glass Factory. Travel along the Lebombo Mountains in Swaziland before re-entering South Africa for your safari in the Kruger National Park. Enter the park and seek the Big 5, amongst other unique African wildlife. Arrive at your private game lodge in time for high tea. Late afternoon game drive in an open safari vehicle with an experienced ranger and tracker. Enjoy a safari style bush dinner under the stars (weather permitting).
After a morning game drive and breakfast, depart the lodge for a drive through the Kruger National Park. Visit the Lone Creek Waterfalls before arriving at your elegant country hideway , where you will enjoy a delectable dinner.
After breakfast, explore the scenic Panorama Route featuring God's Window, Bourke's Luck Potholes and the Blyde River Canyon before you journey to Johannesburg. Travel via Lydenburg, Dullstroom and Witbank. Our tour ends with a drop off at your hotel or at O.R. Tambo Airport.
