Wanderlust Tour
A luxurious tour that departs Johannesburg and travels through Mpumalanga over Long Tom Pass via the Panorama Route, stopping at some of South Africa's top Game Reserves such as Phinda Resource Reserve, before continuing through Swaziland to Durban. From Durban we continue onto Port Elizabeth and spend some time in the magnificent Shamwari Game Reserve before venturing down the Garden Route through Nature's Valley, Plettenberg Bay, Knysna and Oudtshoorn before arriving safely in Cape Town.

On arrival in Johannesburg, you will be met and transferred to your hotel via a short city orientation tour. Check-in at your luxury hotel. This hotel makes a world-class statement of ethnic African elegance, combined with personalized attention to detail.

Depart from Johannesburg and travel to Mpumalanga 'Place of the Rising Sun' traveling via the
historic towns of Witbank, Dullstroom and Lydenburg. Travel over the famous Long Tom Pass to
Sabie. Visit the Lone Creek Waterfalls before arriving at your elegant hideaway. Sip a sundowner on the wide verandah before indulging in the lodge's legendary cuisine.
After breakfast, visit the Mac Mac Waterfalls. Pay a short visit to the historic town of Pilgrim's Rest,
where the richest alluvial gold deposits in South Africa were discovered in 1873. Explore the Panorama Route featuring the Blyde River Canyon, Three Rondawels, Bourke's Luck Potholes,
God's Window and various waterfalls. Continue to your private Game Lodge in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve adjacent to the Kruger National Park. Arrive in time for afternoon tea, followed by your evening game drive in an open safari vehicle. Return to the lodge for dinner.
Early morning bush walk or game drive. After breakfast, spend morning at leisure. Optional wellness treatments are available ranging from conventional European massages to Ayurvedic treatments and acupuncture, reflexology and aromatherapy. Afternoon high tea and an evening game drive are complemented by sundowners, whilst admiring the African sunset. View nocturnal animals on the return night drive to the lodge for dinner.

Early morning bush walk or game drive. After brunch, we depart and explore the world famous Kruger National Park. Afternoon arrival at your safari hotel bordering the Kruger National Park. Dinner included.
Malelane Sun (Presidential Suites) or similar
After a hearty breakfast, journey via Nelspruit to the Kingdom of Swaziland. The scenic drive winds through the Lebombo Mountains, Mbabane, Manzini and sugar cane areas of Big Bend. Re-enter South Africa at Goelela Border Post and continue via the town of Hluhluwe to Phinda Private Game Reserve. Enjoy a leisurely safari on the Mzinene River, including afternoon sundowners and snacks. Boma dinner included at the Lodge (weather permitting).
Early morning game drive in 'Big Five' country. Spend the heat of the day relaxing and enjoying the hospitality of this unique wilderness lodge. At sunset, depart on a safari where an entirely different world of nocturnal bird and animal species unfolds. Return to the lodge for a dinner.

Leisurely breakfast river safari. Upon check-out, we travel south along Indian Ocean coastline, arriving in the bustling city of Durban during the late afternoon. Drop off at your resort hotel located near the seaside village of Ballito on Durban's North coast.

Enjoy a full day at leisure. The hotel itself is sheer luxury and provides ample opportunity for relaxation, an optional spa treatment, day at the nearby beach, or game of golf.

After a leisurely breakfast, transfer to Durban International Airport for your flight to Port Elizabeth (flight not included, but can be arranged by Crown Flight Zone). On arrival in Port Elizabeth, you will be met and transferred to Shamwari Private Game Reserve. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure followed by an afternoon game drive. Steeped in settler history and dating back to a time when a multitude of game roamed freely, the reserve boasts five ecosystems supporting many forms of plant, animal and bird life. Return to the lodge for dinner.
Morning and afternoon game activities are on offer. Visit the Shamwari's cultural village where Xhosa, Zulu and San cultures are showcased. Weather permitting, enjoy a bush dinner with your ranger.
Shamwari Game Reserve (Eagle's Cragg Lodge) or similar
After an early morning game activity and breakfast, head for the Garden Route via Port Elizabeth. Enjoy the scenery as we cross the Storms River where photographic opportunities abound. Continue through Nature's Valley and Plettenberg Bay.
Late afternoon arrival at the lodge, described as a symphony of stone, wood, glass and water amidst the magnificent indigenous forests of Tsitsikamma. Enjoy an exquisite dinner.
After breakfast, drive to Plettenberg Bay for an ocean safari to view seals, dolphin and whales (in season). We then take a short drive out to Keurbooms Beach - pleasant for walking and an ideal optional lunch spot. Return to your lodge for a relaxing afternoon and dinner.

Today we travel via South Africa's 'oyster capital', Knysna and George to Oudtshoorn via the Outeniqua Pass. Visit the Cango Caves. Arrive at your deluxe country hotel and enjoy dinner served in the elegant dining room, well known for its ostrich fare and fine wines.
After an early breakfast, visit an ostrich farm for a guided tour before our journey to Cape Town begins. Leaving the Klein Karoo, explore Route 62 - South Africa's longest wine route. Pass through the quaint towns of Barryvale, Robertson, Montagu and Worcester via Montagu. Arrive in Cape Town during the late afternoon where this luxurious adventure ends with drop off at your hotel or Cape Town International Airport.
