Safari Parks

The majority of game reserves and safari parks are found in the Limpopo and Mpumalanga provinces with the Kruger National Park being one of the oldest and most well-known. Surrounding the Kruger National Park, mostly on its western border, are many privately owned game reserves which today share unfenced borders with the Kruger to allow the wildlife to roam freely in their natural habitats.

In addition, there are highly acclaimed parks to be found throughout South Africa including Madikwe Game Reserve in the North West Province, Hluhluwe-Imfolozi National Park in KwaZulu Natal and the Addo Elephant National Park in the Eastern Cape to name but a few.
