Enjoy your journey through the Garden Route, up the Route 62 to Oudtshoorn where you will spend time at the Cango Caves and an Ostrich Farm before travelling over the Outeniqua Pass to the coast where we meander through George, Wilderness, Knysna and Plettenberg Bay before spending our second night of the tour in the Tsitsikamma Forest at the magnificent Tsala Treetop lodge.
Day 3 begins with a drive through to Plettenberg Bay and a boat ride out to sea where we hope to view whales, dolphins and seals playing in the swell. After spending time soaking up the natural beauty of the Garden Route we drive through to luxurious Shamwari Game Reserve in the Eastern Cape for an unforgettable game viewing experience, where we are immersed in the African bush while still being treated to a world of supreme decadence and class.
Day 5 is spent on an early morning game drive followed by a delicious brunch before our adventure comes to and end as we travel to Port Elizabeth.
Depart Cape Town travelling along South Africa's longest wine route, Route 62. En route, pass through Worcester, Montagu and Robertson. Visit the towns of Barrydale and Calitzdorp, where the true diversity of landscape is highlighted by the ever-changing semi-desert areas. Enjoy and afternoon tour of an ostrich farm in Oudtshoorn, South Africa's feather capital. Dinner and overnight in Oudtshoorn.
After an early breakfast, visit the world famous Cango Caves for a fully guided tour. Depart Oudtshoorn and travel via the Outeniqua Pass to George, Wilderness, Knysna and Plettenberg Bay. Dinner and overnight at your lodge amidst the Tsitsikamma Forest.

After breakfast, drive to Plettenberg Bay for an ocean safari to view seals, dolphin and whales (in season). Afterwards, take a short drive to Keurbooms Beach - pleasant for walking and an ideal optional lunch spot. Return to your lodge for a relaxing afternoon and dinner.

After an early morning game activity and brunch, travel to Port Elizabeth where your adventure ends at your beachfront hotel or the Port Elizabeth Airport.
After breakfast, travel along the Garden Route, through Nature's Valley and cross the Storms River at Storms River Bridge. Travel via Port Elizabeth to the malaria-free Shamwari Private Game Reserve, arriving in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive. Steeped in settler history, the reserve boasts five eco-systems, thus supporting the many forms of plant, animal and bird life. Enjoy dinner around a campfire under the African skies (weather permitting).
