Garden Route Classic Tour
This delightful tour takes visitors along the Route 62 up to Oudtshoorn where you will have the opportunity to explore the Cango Caves and meet some inquisitive ostriches at an Ostrich Show Farm. The tour then continues onto Knysna with its beautiful lagoon and the Featherbed Nature Reserve before driving through to Plettenberg Bay where we spend the next two nights. While in the area you will have time to visit the Knysna Elephant Park, possibly see some whales and dolphins or visit Birds of Eden with its collection of magnificent birds. Our final day sees us travelling through the Tsitsikamma National Park before we arrive at our final destination, Port Elizabeth.
We leave Cape Town and travel along the N1, through the Huguenot Tunnel and on to Route 62. Cape Route 62 is the tourist route in the Western Cape, offering the shorter, scenic alternative to the N2 highway. Enjoy a lunch stop (not included in cost) in Barrydale then continue on to Oudtshoorn where your first stop will be at an Ostrich Farm, where you can enjoy an informative tour (included in cost). Dinner and overnight in Oudtshoorn.

Enjoy a morning tour of the Cango Caves (incl. in cost) in Oudtshoorn before departing for Knysna. You can enjoy lunch (not included in cost) at the Knysna Waterfront before boarding the Featherbed Eco-Experience (included in cost). This tour starts with a ferry ride on the lagoon before stopping at 'The Heads', which is a scenic look out spot. Dinner and overnight accommodation in Plettenberg Bay.

Get up-close-and-personal with nature at the Knysna Elephant Park (included in cost). With the help of our resident African elephants and our well-informed guides, you will learn about the sad and mystical story of the Knysna Elephants - the world's Southern most elephants. After lunch (not included in cost), there is the option to travel to Plettenberg Bay for a Whale and Dolphin experience (not included in cost) with a visit to Birds of Eden (not included in cost) along the way. Dinner and overnight accommodation in Plettenberg Bay.

Early morning takes us to the beautiful Tsitsikamma National Park. Tsitsikamma originates from the Khoi-Khoi language used by the local Inqwa Tribe that lived in the area some 1700 years ago meaning "a place of many/sparkling/abundant water". We enjoy lunch (not included in cost) in the Tsitsikamma National Park. Our tour terminates in Port Elizabeth.
