Birds of Eden
Type: Birds, Nature
Opening Times
Open from 8am - 5pm everyday.
When stepping into Birds of Eden one enters into a magical world where birds in a rainbow of colours are able to fly freely in a 50m high free-flight sanctuary.
A large gorge and indigenous forest is enclosed by a 2 hectare dome; the world's largest, providing a sanctuary for over 3000 birds of 220 different species. The sanctuary is a world in itself with its own ruin, waterfall and even the ability to synthesize rain and thunder. Over 1-kilometer of walkways, of which 900m is elevated, allow visitors to explore the forest with ease while watching the birds and their natural interactions with the forest and each other.
