Jaci's Safari Lodge

Exclusive Safari Lodge

Located in the malaria free Madikwe Game Reserve, Jaci's Safari Lodge magically blends in with its surroundings and is built around an ancient termite mound. The lodge is small and exclusive offering a choice of eight rooms or a two bedroomed suite - all built with thatched roofs, canvas walls and large tented windows for a true safari style experience. The central dining area and boma offers sweeping views across the bush - guests can take a refreshing dip in the swimming pool and come evening will be treated to bush braai's beneath starry skies.

Each room has a hand made ceramic fireplace surrounded by a stone chimney. The deck in front of the room allows you to sit and enjoy the surrounding sights and smells of the bushveld - whilst watching the animals walking past to drink.

There is also an ethnic craft shop, a gym and children's play area for guests convenience.

Children are most welcome at Jaci's Lodges and special provisions are made for them including tailored game drives, baby sitting services during morning game drives (no under 7's on normal game drives) and earlier evening meals.

Your room at Jaci's Safari Lodge

Jaci's has eight thatched rooms, each with a charming built in, ensuite handmade rock bath with an outdoor "safari" shower, and fans to keep a gentle breeze flowing. Six of the rooms have twin beds and the seventh and eighth room have king size four poster beds. Children sharing with their parents are comfortably accommodated on camping stretchers in the rooms. Maximum 3 children per room. In addition, guests can now opt for the newly built Nare Suite with two bedrooms, kitchen, lounge and outdoor dining area.

Children under the age of 12 are not permitted. Children of age 12 and over are charged as adults.

Meals are prepared in an ultra modern kitchen, in full view of the dining area. Dinners are eaten outside around the open fire in the boma under the stars, or out in the bush on a "braai", surrounded by nature.
