Sabie is a small country town set on the banks of the Sabie River in Mpumalanga. It offers breathtaking nature scenes, spectacular waterfalls and pristine mountain streams. The entrance to the town is lined with towering bluegums and the plantations surrounding Sabie are said to be amongst the biggest man-made forests in the world. There are several hiking and mountain bike trails in the region, from Forest Falls Nature Walks to cycling along the Long Tom Pass.
