Graskop is the ideal town to use as a base while exploring the Panorama Route with its bountiful natural beauty. Here you can spend time marvelling at sights such as God's Window, the Blyde River Canyon and Bourke's Luck Potholes as well as tumbling waterfalls such as the Mac Mac Falls. Today the forestry town of Graskop is a timber mining and milling centre and its location also makes it ideally situated for exploring the Kruger National Park. The name Graskop is Afrikaans for 'grassy peak', a fitting description for the lush green area.
