Tsitsikamma National Park
Tsitsikamma is a place of mystical and ancient beauty, home to winding rivers, rocky ravines and dense indigenous forest. The park is one of the largest Marine Protected Areas in the world stretching 5km out to sea to encompass the many whales and other marine life that visit the shallow waters to breed or give birth.
The Tsitsikamma Park covers over 80km of coastline and includes Storms River mouth with its renowned suspension bridge. Almost 40% of the mountain slopes and valleys are covered in spectacular fynbos with colourful flowers and proteas dotting the lush greenery.
