Nguni River Lodge Star Star Star Star Star

Exclusive Safari Lodge

Spectacular views over a pristine floodplain and the Zuurberg Mountain as backdrop, are the picture perfect image that welcomes every Nguni River Lodge guest. The name Nguni refers to a collective group of people who migrated form Central Africa to the south, in search of grazing for their cattle. They eventually settled along the eastern seaboard and adjacent hinterland of Southern Africa.

Guests can experience the delights of the lodge's hospitality at its well stocked bar, enjoy a relaxed chat in the lounge, or assist with the preparation of African cuisine in the interactive kitchen.

Experience a world of extreme bio-diversity. Addo Elephant National Park is about to become the only wildlife park in the world where you can view the African Big seven in their natural environment. Guided game drives on open land rovers and walks led by professional rangers, offer close encounters with the Big Five and hundreds of smaller animals, birds and reptile species can be spotted with the help of an informed eye, quiet body and patient mind. Every sound, scent, footprint or broken blade of grass is a sign waiting to be explored by many a keen nature lover.
