Port Alfred

Port Alfred is a small town with a population of under 21 000 in the Eastern Cape Province. It is situated halfway between Port Elizabeth and East London Museum, located on the banks of the Kowie River.

The town has a recorded history dating from the 1820 Settlers. The mild climate and award winning beaches provide activities and entertainment for the whole family, including fishing, scuba diving, canoeing, waterskiing and tubing. Port Alfred also boasts one of the seven "royal" golf courses in the country.
