Highlight Tour of Namibia

You are collected at your hotel in the early afternoon (driver only - no guide for this section of the tour) and transported via the Spreetshoogte Pass and Solitaire to your lodge, on the border of the Namib Desert.

Arrive at your lodge and view the stunning scenery - miles of desolate and beautiful desert.

Dinner and overnight at the lodge

Early morning departure to Sossusvlei (time will vary with season).

You have the opportunity to climb some of the highest sand dunes in the world.

There is a stop for breakfast in the Vlei.

Travel to the Sesriem Canyon - named through the early pioneers who had to tie six harness straps together to reach the water at the bottom of the Canyon.

Return to the lodge for lunch.

In the afternoon, you have the opportunity to join a guided nature/sunset drive to the Marble Mountains, or relax with a sun downer on the veranda and enjoy the spectacular sunset this region is known for.

Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Depart the lodge after breakfast and travel via the Kuiseb Pass to Swakopmund.

Arrive in the early afternoon at your hotel or guest house.

Overnight in Swakopmund

Unguided, there is a full day at leisure in Swakopmund. You can book optional tours - for your own account.

Dinner and overnight Swakopmund NOTE: At dinner you meet your tour guide.

Depart Swakopmund and travel to Henties Bay. Drive through the town before heading into the desert.

Continue to Uis, a former mining town.

Travel to Twyfelfontein, one of the most important archaeological sites in Namibia to see rock paintings and engravings.

There is a stop to enjoy a packed lunch.

After lunch, visit the Organ Pipes and the Burnt Mountain. Continue the journey to Damaraland to arrive at your lodge for overnight in the late afternoon.

Enjoy a morning scenic drive in rocky Damaraland with a guide from the lodge.

Return to the lodge for lunch.

Join a guided walk where you are introduced to the rich flora and fauna of this area or spend the afternoon at leisure.

Dinner and overnight at the lodge

After breakfast we travel to Kamanjab. Near Kamanjab we will visit a Himba village and learn more about the culture and the tradition of this half-nomadic people. Continue the journey.

Stop at Outjo for a short lunch. Depart Outjo and continue to Otjiwarongo for overnight. Arrive at the lodge for check in.

Join a local guide on a guided walk through the game park surrounding your Lodge. Possibly see giraffe and antelopes from close by, get introduction into farm and wildlife management; and the history of Otjiwarongo, one of the old towns in Namibia.

Travel to Outjo and stop for Lunch.

Continue to Etosha National Park.

Enter the park and proceed on a game drive in our touring vehicle. Leave the park before sunset and arrive at your safari camp or lodge outside the park for dinner and overnight.

Today is a full day of game drives and exploring the various waterholes along the saltpan.

There is a lunch stop at one of the rest camps

Continue on your game drives.

Leave the park before sunset and arrive at your safari camp or lodge outside the park for dinner and overnight.

Continue on your game drive.

Overnight preferably in rest camp inside the Etosha Park.

Depart the rest camp or lodge and travel south towards Otjiwarongo.

There will be a stop at Otavi, the centre of Namibia's maize growing region.

Continue the journey to Windhoek via Otjiwarongo, where we will stop for lunch.

Depart Otjiwarongo and travel to Okahandja.

Visit craft market before continuing to Windhoek, where your tour ends on arrival.
