Adventure Tour Of Namibia
Enjoy an eleven day organised adventure tour of Namibia. Often described as the land of contrast, Namibia is home to many of the worlds most spectacular natural landscapes. Camping out in the open, you will experience the true feel of Africa as you wake up to the most incredible African sunrises. The tour takes you to the Waterberg Plateau National Park, Etosha National Park, Brandberg, Swakopmund, Walvis Bay and the spectacular Dunes of Sossusvlei.
Depart from Windhoek and travel north to Otjiwarongo. There will be a short stop for a light meal. Travel to the Cheetah Conservation Fund where you take part in a short safari. You will have excellent photo opportunities and get to learn a lot about the fastest cats in the world. Proceed to the Waterberg Plateau Mountain - a table mountain with an extraordinary plant variety and permanent fountains. Overnight in tents at Waterberg Campsite.
Tented accommodation
In the morning, hike onto the Waterberg Plateau which rises about 200m from the plains. Enjoy the splendid views into the vast Kalahari Sandveld.
Relax after Lunch.
In the afternoon, take part in a nature drive in this privately owned Park (in open vehicles).

After breakfast, travel to your Lodge near the Etosha National Park. Check in at the Lodge and enjoy some relaxation time.
We will undertake the first game drive into the Etosha Park in the late afternoon.

Today is a full day of game drives to explore the various waterholes along the saltpan. There is a lunch stop at one of the rest camps. Continue on your game drive.
Leave the Park before sunset and arrive at your lodge for dinner and overnight

We head south and drive past Outjo to Khorixas
Visit to the nearby Petrified Forest.
Light lunch at Khorixas. Continue your journey.
Arrive at your campsite near the Brandberg Mountain in the afternoon. Dinner, and overnight in tents at Brandberg
Tented accommodation
We leave early in the morning and walk to the famous rock painting site of the White Lady in the Brandberg. (Note: depending on season, tiring walk)
After Lunch, you can go for a swim or relax under the shady Ana-Trees in the Ugab River.
In the afternoon we will drive in an open vehicle along the river bed on search of the Desert-dwelling Elephants that often roam in the area.

Our route takes us past Uis to the coast.
Visit to the Cape Fur Seal colony at Cape Cross.
Short stop for Lunch
We will arrive at Swakopmund in the early afternoon. Rest of the day at leisure (unguided)

Guest House
Explore Swakopmund and enjoy some of the many optional activities (for own account): Visit to the aquarium, museum or crystal gallery; join the Living Desert Tour or a guided tour to the township Mondesa; undertake a scenic flight over Skeleton coast or a catamaran or boat cruise in Walvis Bay. Overnight at Swakopmund guest house
Guest House
Travel to Walvis Bay and visit the renowned Lagoon. Continue your interesting drive through the solitaire gravel plains of the Namib Desert and enjoy the vistas at the Kuiseb Pass. Lunch in Solitaire en route. Continue past Solitaire and the Naukluft Mountains. Arrive at your Campsite in the late afternoon.

Early breakfast before travelling to Sesriem
Arrive at the gate (sunrise) and travel to Sossusvlei through the Tsauchab River Valley and view some of the highest dunes in the world
Travel along the river bed into the heart of the Namib Desert
Continue the journey to the Sesriem Canyon
Depart the canyon and travel back to your campsite for Lunch
The rest of the day is at leisure
Dinner, and overnight at the campsite

We depart after breakfast and drive through the Khomas Hochland to Windhoek. Arrival around lunch time.
Your tour ends with a drop off at your Windhoek Hotel.
