Henties Bay is the only town found along the skeleton coast and is located about 75km from Swakopmund. Considered to be one of Namibia prime quaint seaside holiday resorts, this bustling town was once a tiny fishing village with just a few shacks. Today one will find a hotel, golf course, several shops and a number of small pubs. The main attraction is the long solitary beach ideal for leisurely strolls, picnics and relaxation. A fog rolls in almost every evening creating an air of romantic mystique.
